ADVANTECH has released two signal conditioning modules, the ADAM-3112 and ADAM-314, which can protect systems even in severe environments.
ADAM-3112 is an isolated AC voltage to DC voltage module while ADAM-3114 is an isolated AC current to DC voltage module.
These two signal conditioning modules can convert up to 400 VAC or 5AAC signals to 0~5 VDC signals for data acquisition cards to measure while reducing the harmful effects of ground loops, field noise and electrical interference.
According to Advantech, the modules have very robust high voltage isolation, and can be exposed to severe environments and still protect the system from high voltage input or power.
Both modules provide 1,000 VDC between output and power; 2,500 VRMS between input and output, and between input and power. The ADAM-3112 provides three input modes, 0~120 VRMS, 0~250 VRMS, and 0~400 VRMS, in one single signal conditioning module.
The two modules are suitable for DIN-rail mounting, designed for easy daisy chain power wiring, and can be connected through screw terminals.
