Switchcraft has introduced the 318BT AudioStix Bluetooth – a small in-line wireless audio receiver that uses 4.0 Bluetooth technology to stream audio from any Bluetooth enabled device – just plug into your mixing board.
It is phantom powered – 48V, no cable, battery or software is needed and has an enhanced range of 15 to 30m. If phantom power is not available it has a micro USB port for external power source.
318BT also internally sums the stereo Bluetooth audio sent from your computer or mobile device, so you don’t need to worry about multiple receivers or tying up multiple channels on your board. Tests have shown this device has really low latency.
