ADVANTECH has released the ASMB-310IR server board with CEB form factor, fitting both standard and smaller industrial-grade chassis.
The server board is suited for mission-critical applications, such as medical imaging; industrial control and automation equipment; digital surveillance; and military simulators and other government uses.
Featuring dual Intel Xeon 5500/5560 series processors, six ECC registered DIMMs up to 48GB capacity, and rich expansion slots with high bandwidth support, ASMB-310IR offers extreme performance at the lowest total cost of ownership due to its one-board design for various chassis, compared with qual-level mainstream products in the market.
The ASMB-310IR server board comes with 5 to 7 years of component supply longevity support and strict revision control that ensure product availability and reliability for embedded equipment developers in their business commitments.
The ASMB-310IR’s connectivity and expansion options include:
- four PCIe x8 (or two PCIe x16 via autoswitch) slots
- one PCIe x4 slot
- up to nine USB ports
- two COM ports
- support for up to eight SAS/SATA HDDs
- three built-in GbE LANs, with one dedicated to a remote management function
ASMB-310IR can support IPMI 2.0. It provides an OS-independent and cross-platform interface for monitoring server system temperature, voltage, and fan status, and it permits out-of-band management even when the main processors are not powered-on.
