METROMATICS is distributing Crystal Group’s newest rugged power supplies for ruggedised servers in harsh environments.
The RPS425DC1U and RPS585DC2U EMC DC power supplies are the world’s first units to comply with MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 requirements for ATX motherboards in 1U and 2U rack mount servers.
The RPS425DC1U and RPS585DC2U deliver 425W and 585W peak output power respectively and are engineered for wide range +28VDC input power compatible with aircraft electrical sources. Designed with modular output with ATX pinouts for server class motherboards these power supplies are available in an IPC form factor and require no additional components for EMI filtering.
Electronic protection features include inrush current limiting on the input and short-circuit protection with self-resetting thermal shutdown on the output. With dual fan cooling, the units have an operational temperature range of -40°C to 55°C and perform well in high shock/vibration/EMI environments, like those found in vehicle and aircraft systems.
