NetComm Wireless, a leading global developer of data communications devices, has introduced a new VDSL/ADSL home and office gateway that supports triple play data, video streaming and VoIP services with high-speed access to VDSL and any nbnT network configuration.
Designed to deliver powerful Internet, voice and WiFi coverage as households transition from ADSL to fibre services, the NetComm Wireless VDSL/ADSL N300 WiFi Gateway with VoIP (NF10WV) features an in-built VDSL2/ADSL2+ modem and Gigabit Ethernet WAN port to support current and future network access options.
NetComm Wireless’ NF10WV offers immediate access to the nbn’s Fibre-to-the-Node (FTTN) service, which uses VDSL technology to extend high-speeds into premises; and Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) services that deliver superfast speeds of up to 100Mbps.
Designed to support multi HD IPTV, over the top video streaming and high quality VoIP phone calls, the 3-in-1 NF10WV features:
- a wireless N300 access point, using DLNA/UpnP standards for a fast and reliable communication with WiFi enabled devices such as laptops, smart phones, tablets, set top box and gaming consoles;
- four Ethernet LAN ports for desktop computers, media players and other wired devices; and
- two FXS ports to connect telephones for VoIP calls.
Developed to serve as the media hub of the home, the simple setup NF10WV also includes two USB ports for file and content sharing between all connected devices.
