ADVANTECH has launched the BEMG-4110/4220/4221/4222 Energy Data Concentrators, for managing the energy consumption from large numbers of energy meters.
The rugged and fanless 4110 units have an operating temperature range of -10~60°C, while the BEMG-4221/4222 have an extended operating temperature range of -10~70°C.
These concentrators can be configured and maintained via a web browser. The driver in the concentrators allows the building devices data to be converted to standard Modbus TCP or BACnet IP for the host computer to read.
The data concentrators have a pre-installed 1 GB CompactFlash card, which is used for storing the systems’ WindowsCE operating system, Advantech WinCE WebAccess configuration software and the data logs.
This allows the units to store data in environments where network communication is unreliable. Data will be stored in the concentrators when the network communication is poor.
Once the networks reestablish communication, the system will register the start time of the data lost and data will be recovered to the database.
The Advantech WinCE WebAccess SCADA tool supports up to 600 tags is used to configure the devices.
