ADVANTECH has released the SOM-7562 B1 COM-Ultra Module based on the Intel N455 processor.
The B1 version module with the N455 processor incorporates upgraded memory technology from DDR2 to DD3, wider operational temperatures from -40 to 85°C, and an optional 5V-only version with more competitive power consumption.
The SOM-7562, the first all-in-one COM-Ultra low power solution released last year, is especially suited to portable device applications since the N455 platform is integrated in a compact board as small as a credit card. Power consumption is fully utilized to give good performance with great power saving.
The B1 version upgrades memory capacity from 512MB to 1GB, and now supports DDR3 with better performance than DDR2, and incorporates better energy saving technology.
With built in flash memory, the SOM-7562 B1 is qualified for ruggedised environments up to 3.5Grms (random vibration) and 15G (bump).
