ADVANTECH has launched the PPC-157T, a panel PC with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and a 15 inch touch screen designed for HMI users needing multiple communication interfaces.
According to Advantech, the Intel Core 2 Duo kernel significantly improves work efficiency in computing and multimedia. Built-in expansion slots include PCIe, Mini PCIe, and Mini PCI, allowing clients to scale the system and integrate many custom function cards.
The Advantech PPC-157T is also equipped with dual Gigabit Ethernet connectors which provide communications redundancy with failover and LAN teaming support.
The PPC-157T can be used as a host information appliance, and has been tested to 1G for vibration and 0 to 50 ºC for operating temperature. The system is dust-tight and resistant to water. Onboard hardware monitoring protects it against overheating and ensures added reliability for critical applications.
