PCRange lights up new Smart Home range

Latest News

Australian broadband specialist PCRange announces the launch of two
Bluetooth-controlled LED light products as part of its new range of Smart Home
devices. The launch follows PCRange’s appointment as an exclusive distributor
of Chinese company Yeelink’s Yeelight products in Australia. Yeelink is part-funded
by Xiaomi, the largest smartphone manufacturer in China and the third largest
in the world.

PCRange will market Yeelight Blue II Smart LED bulbs and Yeelight Blue lightstrips,
which can be controlled by iOS or Android apps via Bluetooth 4.0 technology.

Key features of the six-watt Yeelight Blue II Smart LED bulbs and
Yeelight Blue lightstrips include display of 16 million colours; support for scene
lighting; one-button clicks to make lights dance to the rhythm of music; timer
to programme lights to turn on or off at a certain time; and choice of colour
temperatures from white or warm white lighting. Yeelight Blue lightstrips are
backed with 3M tape for assured adherence.

PCRange CEO Raaj Menon explains that Yeelight provides quick and
convenient control of any lighting environment with the user able to use any
Bluetooth-enabled smartphone to choose from 16 million colours in any imaginative
application. For instance, the flexible Yeelight Blue lightstrips can be run under
the sofa, around the clock on the wall or under the TV to create innovative
home lighting. The lightstrips can also be made to dance to the rhythm of music
or run flowing colours based on photos in the smartphone album.

PCRange will sell Yeelight products through its existing resellers and
also target homebuilders and electrical outlets.

Yeelight Blue II LED bulbs and Yeelight Blue LED light strips
will be available from early February.
