Matrox’s Monarch HDX streaming appliance has been named a finalist in the 10th annual Streaming Media Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards.
Nominated by fans and peers, the dual-channel device was noted for its powerful, yet cost effective nature in the “Portable Live Streaming Appliance (Less than $7,000)” category.

Matrox Monarch HDX is a compact, dual-channel H.264 encoding appliance designed for workflow flexibility, offering both streaming and/or recording. Monarch HDX features 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs with frame synchronisation to compensate for unstable sources.
Winners will be announced on November 2, 2016, at Streaming Media West, Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach, California.
