Dobby is claimed to be the world’s first super-light consumer selfie drone that folds and fits in your pocket.
With its inbuilt tutorials for beginners, Dobby is said to empower everyone to master aerial photography within five minutes. The drone connects with your smart phone, turning it into a powerful flight controller that allows you to use features such as palm take-off and landing, voice- control, one-click barrel rolling and dual satellite positioning with ease. It includes a 13-megapixel camera with a field of view of 75 degrees and 1080p FHD video capabilities.
Dobby can fold up to fit into your pocket. Weighing 199g, it has a three-axis electronic image stabilisation system, gesture control and target tracking, meaning the unit uses CV technology rather than GPS to enhance precision within a short reaction time. It offers nine minutes of flight time and supports both Qualcomm Quick Charge technology and portable chargers, making it the ideal drone for on the go flying.
The drone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Flight platform. Snapdragon Flight is based on the Snapdragon 801 processor, with GPS, 4K capture, and connectivity, along with advanced drone software and development tools.
