Western Digital Corporation has appointed Leader Computers to distribute HGST and G-Technology branded storage products and solutions in Australia.

The distribution agreement with Leader Computers includes the full range of HGST and G-Technology products. The HGST brand delivers enterprise-class hard disk drives (HDDs) and solid state drives (SSDs) for data center applications, mobile HDDs, external storage solutions and JBOD systems. The G-Technology brand designs external storage solutions for consumers and content-creation professionals that need easy backup, storage and editing solutions. Leader Computers will also distribute the HGST Active Archive System, a fully integrated cloud-scale object storage system that helps data centers easily evolve from siloed data storage to cloud-scale active archiving.
