REDARC Electronics has taken out the Excellence in Innovation award at the Technology Industry Association Awards of 2015.
The TIA Awards were held on 24 July, and saw six finalists competing for the Excellence in Innovation Award. REDARC proved triumphant with their Tow-Pro electric trailer controller, a device which enhances the safety of towing.
The panel of industry experts also awarded three other awards:
- The Sustainable Technology award was won by Bouwmeester Composites
- The Young Achieve award was won by James Albrechtsen from REDARC Electronics
- The Start-up Award was won by Sine
Former Codan CEO Mike Heard was the keynote speaker, while TIA president Nigel Hall said the calibre of the nominees was extremely high, showing the innovations emanating from South Australia.
The TIA represents South Australia’s technology-based organisations.
