NI has released two new antenna design application examples using NI AWR Design Environment software.
The application examples are titled “Design and Simulation of a 2.4 GHz/5.6 GHz WLAN Antenna on PCB Technology” and “Design and Simulation of an ISM Band Antenna on PCB Technology.”
Highlights of these application notes include:
“Design and Simulation of a 2.4 GHz/5.6 GHz WLAN Antenna on PCB Technology” – describes the design and simulation of a 2.45 GHz single band antenna, a dual band version for 2.4 GHz and 5.6 GHz, as well as sensitivities to PCB material tolerances.”
Design and Simulation of an ISM Band Antenna on PCB Technology” – examines the co-simulation of an electrically small industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band antenna with the matching network built from surface mounted devices.
